B.A. in Studio Art - Then 30 years as a quilt maker, jewelry designer, glass fuser, and part-time greenhouse worker. I've recently combined all of those into this new endeavor of decorative wall hangings.

Hand dyed cotton muslin fabric outlined with steel, copper, or paper-covered floral wire - hand sewn with cotton thread onto stretched canvas. Some include other embellishments such as glass beads and embroidery thread -or anything that can be sewn down.

Each piece is hand-made in my home studio in Ludlow, MA. All processes are done by hand (dying, cutting, sewing). Elements are laid flat and arranged and rearranged endlessly until they look "right" (whatever that is) .
